Q:WHAT IS A SPECIAL EQUIPMENT FOR INDOOR SWIMMING POOLS?

A: The special equipment for indoor swimming pools has been specifically designed and developed for use with indoor swimming pools. It is a completely self contained unit encompassing all the component parts of a total heat recovery system and being fully weather proofed, is also suitable for location autside a building.
All components are heavy duty with proven reliability over many years and the entire special equipment for indoor swimming pools is designed, end buit for a long working life.
An integral part of the special equipment for indoor swimming pools is a sophisticated and proven control system which automatically senses and maintains pool area conditions at all times, with minimum energy input to the building.

Q: WHY HEAT RECOVERY?

A: Indoor swimming pools use a considerable amout of heat energy, much of which goes to waste as the warm humid air is continually extracted from the building and replaced with heated dry air. The special heat recovery system is designed to almost eliminate this type of wastage.

Q: HAW DOES A HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM REDUCE RUDUCE RUNNING COSTS?

A: By cooling the warm humid air extracted from the pool area below its dew point temperature, the air is dehumidified and effectively dried. During the process of dehumidification, heat energy is recovered and used to raise the temperature of the air being supplied back to the pool area. The electrical energy input to drive the system is lower than the heat energy recovered. Typically, for every 1 KW of electrical drive energy 5 KW of heat energy would be recovered.
In winter and colder periods of the year, the extract air, even after being cooled and dehumidified, wil have a higher heat content than the outside air. During this period most of the extract air would be reheated together with a small quantity of fresh air and supplied back to the pool area.
In summer and milder periods of the year, the outside air will have a higher heat content than the dehumidified extract air. During this period all the extract air would be exhausted and only suitably heated outside air would be supplied to the pool area.
The nett effect of being able to recover heat energy from the extract air whilst drying it, together with recirculating the dehumidified air, is to provide a dramatic reduction in energy consumption and, therefore, running costs. With a special equipment for indoor swimming pools heat recovery system the annual heating costs may be reduced by up to 45%.

Q:WHAT ABOUT CONSTRUCTION?

A:The special equipment for indoor swimming pools comprises: two hermetic compressors, air pre-filter in the evaporator, air evaporator (CU-CU), air condenser (CU-CU), air pre-filter in the condenser, outside air damper, by-pass damper, exhaust damper, water condenser for heating the swimming pool, exhaust fan, supply fan, control panel, sensors, and power panel.
Panels are in Al-Zn steel, with priming and enamelling with epoxy powder, for good corrosion resistance.
  • Complete system control, installed and tested to ensure optimum performance with minimum energy requirements at all times.
  • Fully insulated for minimum thermal loss and low noise levels.
  • Unit is fully weatherproofed and suitable for locating outside buildings
  • A digital programmable panel to control and adjust the system.
  • The control panel takes the analogue and digital signs from the temperature and humidity sensors. Relays, contactors, motors, etc... and an exclusive special equipment for indoor swimming pools software package, controls the main elements of the system.
  • Units are supplied with a full refrigerant charge.
  • Control panel contains all refrigerant safety controls. Poer panel is installed separate from the control panel.
